Sarah

The main character of my historical novel is Sarah Winstanley, a 21 year old working class girl who sets out to buy the business where she works - a corner shop bakery owned by aged Madge Flint, soon to retire due to arthritis. The problem for Sarah is how does she raise the capital? The flow of words

My novel FLEETWOOD LASS is coming to Fleetwood library. I've ordered a copy and it should be arriving in a few weeks. Normally the county won't touch self-published work but they thought my book had 'local interest' and so relented. I'll be posting info about it on social media and will be sending an article to the local newspaper (no idea if they'll show any interest, they haven't so far).
